• When choosing between two similar items, 83% of consumers will choose the greener option, and
• Nearly half of consumers will pay at least 5% more for the greener option.

Interesting - now, if only they could make a believably green fuel for our motor vehicle habits. Not only would that be helpful to our environment, but someone would make a ton on cash. Granted, it has been tried before - Ethanol etc - but that's total speculation. As of yet, there is no actual replacement for real real gas.
