In late June, a new association, the Association of Green Meetings and Events (AGME), joined us in the green events online community. AGME grew out of the Atlanta Green Meeting Council, which started in late 2007, and it is already making a splash with the announcement of its certification program.
Its Certification in Green Meetings & Events (CGME) is a 25-hour, "experiential" program and is in two parts, according to the CGME info sheet (.pdf doc):
